The Three Musketeers is a 1948 Technicolor adventure film. It was directed by George Sidney and written by Robert Ardrey. The film is based on the 1844 novel by Alexandre Dumas.
The film is about D'Artagnan, a young noble who comes to Paris to become a Musketeer. He gets involved in political plots with Athos, Portos, and Aramis. D'Artagnan and his musketeer comrades stop Royal Prime Minister Richelieu from taking the King's power.
